Initial Consultation
60 Minutes
Your journey to relief starts with being heard. We dedicate a full hour to your first visit because pain is complex. This session is a deep dive into your history and symptoms, an opportunity to share your story without being rushed. We will review your past treatments and carefully go over any previous imaging or test results to ensure nothing is overlooked. Together, we will review your diagnosis and build a personalized treatment plan tailored to your life. You’ll leave with a clear path forward and the confidence that your care is finally on the right track.
* Patients of Dr. Cheng from UCI that were seen within a year do not need an initial consultation
Follow up care
30 Minutes
Healing isn’t always a straight line, and we’re with you for every step. During these 30-minute sessions, we’ll review your progress, lifestyle strategies, and address any new symptoms. We’ll adjust your strategy as needed to ensure your symptoms continue to improve and your care stays on track.
Procedures
Using the proven PREEMPT protocol, we provide individualized FDA-approved injections designed to reduce both the frequency and severity of chronic migraines. Each session involves 155–200 units, with dosing specifically adjusted to target your unique symptom patterns. It’s a targeted, in-office approach to help you reclaim more headache-free days.
*The procedure fee does not include the cost of the toxin itself. However, the medication is often covered, at least partially, by insurance; we will submit the necessary documentation to your insurance provider to help secure coverage for the toxin.
Every 12 weeks
Targeted injections designed to calm overactive nerves and provide rapid relief from severe headache cycles. This treatment is highly effective for Chronic Migraine, Cluster Headache, and Occipital Neuralgia. By delivering medication directly to the source of the pain, we can reduce inflammation and "reset" the pain signals.
Targeted Nerve Blocks: Occipital, Auriculotemporal, Supraorbital, or Supratrochlear
Combined Nerve Blocks
Combined Nerve Blocks with Trigger Point Injections
As needed
Muscular knots in the neck, shoulders, and scalp can often trigger or worsen headache disorders. Using targeted injections, we can release these "trigger points" to alleviate muscle-related pain and interrupt the cycle of tension. This quick, in-office procedure is a focused way to address the physical contributors to your discomfort.
